About Full of Wishes

In 1985 I came up with a "Valentizer" gift box with appetizers, fruit, and chocolate for Valentine's Day.

While doing dishes I had some chicken wishbones drying on the counter and thought they would be perfect as earrings, napkin holders or place card settings. In addition, I came up with a greeting card line based on the wishbone motif.

I contacted a poultry processor for chicken wishbones.  They sent me 1000!   The originals were then cleaned, sanded and painted. I then used a skill drill for the earring holes.

For years I put everything on hold until retirement when I went fast forward to bring my wish to life.

Currently I am using birch plywood and acrylic, laser cut to shape. The pieces are then sanded, painted, and assembled to create the final product.
